Tetsusaiga!!!:

Untransformed sword made from hardwood and transformed sword made from fiberglass.

Hardwood reproduction of Inuyasha's fathers sword. Carved with nicks and dents to simulate long use. Also has textured finish to resemble pits from aging. Handle wrapped with distressed cloth. Matching sheath with partial felt lining rounds out the prop.

The transformed version of the Tetsusaiga is made from fiberglass covered foam. The finish was gradiated from silver to white at the tip for a ethereal look, since the sword is supposed to be a tooth. Overall height is 6' 6".

Tools: Poplar wood sheets (1/2" and 1/4"), carpenters glue, clamps, ruler, chisels, dremel, palm sander, bondo putty, epoxy resin, several grades of sandpaper, cloth, Plastic truckbed liner spray.
