Construction is fiberglass over poly foam. Details are done with a variety of materials from bondo putty to resin, to wood and spray plastic.

Tools: 1"extruded polystyrene foam (pink insulation from Home Depot), 6" retractable utility knife, Japanese saw, several grits of sandpaper, epoxy resin fiberglass, fiberglass cloth, squeegee, palm sander, bondo putty, silicone rubber/dispenser gun, 3/4" PVC tubing, 2" wood screws, drill, Polyester resin, sculpey, dremel tool, acrylic paints, Krylon Fusion spray paint, clear spray sealer, Luma inks, airbrush, paintbrushes, wool felt, 1/4" 'silk' ribbon, clear casting resin, casting resin color, modeling clay, heavy-duty marine glue, a can-do attitude and several alcoholic beverages of your choice.
