Blade of the Immortal :

Three part hid-a-way blade made from wood, PVC and the kitchen sink.

Construction Notes:

If you want a similar sword made by me I can do it at a reasonable price since I have the materials on hand and the experience. Just shoot me an email and tell me what you want: mike@fantasyprops.com

A unique challenge. Just a regular Blade of the Immortal would be pretty cool, but why do that when you can go all the way and make the telescoping three part blade? :). Main blade is hardened poplar wood, second blade in handle is flexible acrylic plastic and screws securely into handle segment, third blade in pommel is wood and pressure fits into handle. Handle segments are PVC heat molded into 'bone' or 'bamboo' shape.

Tools: Poplar wood sheets (1/2" and 1/4"), carpenters glue, clamps, ruler, chisels, dremel, 1/4" acrylic sheet, PVC, heat gun, palm sander, bondo putty, epoxy resin, several grades of sandpaper
