FREQUENTLY
ASKED QUESTIONS:
Q: Do you make real
metal swords?
A: Nope. My stuff is all wood and fibergalss. LOTS of people
think they are metal because I paint them elaborately. I don't
work with metal because I just don't have the tools.... yet!
Q: Can I buy
a prop unpainted for cheaper and just paint it myself?
A: Yes! That's the easiest way to save money.
Q: Do you make
suits of armor?
A: I can.... will I? Maybe. Making extensive costume armor is
time consuming and therefore expensive. I prefer making armor
bits. Feel free to inquite if it's possible and we can discuss
time and price.
Q: Are painted
foam props cheaper than cast resin?
A: Yep. Theres quite a bit less work involved in it. Plain foam
props are somewhat fragile, but if you're careful with them they'll
last a good long time.
Q: Do you do
custom paintjobs?
A: YES! and I love to. Just tell (or show me) what you want.
Your clan logo? battle worn? New and shiny? Cartoon highlights?
Q: Do you make
fake swords and knives?
A: Depends. Thing is, realistic swords are so cheap and easy
to find that you might be better off buying them. If it's a very
unusual (like oversized video game type swords) then YES, I do
make those. I can also make 'neutered' swords (hilt and scabbard
but no blade) for show.
Q: How long does
it take to make things?
A: Depends on how many things I have going at once. Let me know
how soon you need it and I'll work with you. It's safe to assume
I have a line several months long, please take this into account.
Q: Do you make
reproduction firearms?
A:Yes, but like swords if it's a common weapon you may be better
off buying an airsoft pellet gun. I have a few fictional firearms
in my gallery section that you can peep. I can also take existing
toy or replica weapons and customize them.
Q: I want to
buy a cool custom prop made, and I can't draw for crap! Can you
help?
A: I can sketch out some ideas for you if you need help. Just
tell me the general stuff (Orcish bow, sci-fi looking pistol,
wicked medieval type gauntlet, etc).
Q: Do you make
non-lethal props? You know, girlie stuff?
A: Sure, just ask. I have lots of tools and supplies... I'm sure
I can figure out how to make what you need for your costume,
and if not I may be able to point you at someone who can.
Q: Do you sew?
A: Not really.... lol
Q: Can you fix
a damaged prop made by someone else?
A: Sure.
Q: Do you have
any kind of prop guarantee?
A: Very limited. I always make sure a customer understands what
the prop is likely to stand up to. If there is an extenuating
circumstance I'll make an exception.
Q: If the moon
was made of green cheese would you eat some?
A: yep i luvz teh cheese
